Great car. I looked at it when it was for sale on ebay, in Ohio. Lots of great originality and an interior to die for.

Good luck getting it up and going. You are doing the right thing for that car.

more random pics. Better view of starter heat shiels and floor after first round of cleanup. There was a short "barn find" write up on this car when it was for sale on epay. Described as rotted out doors etc and maybe some originality. Doors look rotted out to you? Crappy looking floors cleaned up very well. Mainly staining. That clip and crappy looking pics just about scared us off also but very glad we bid on it. Did not know it was a MSS until I drove it. No mistaking a low mile M22 whistling for you.

Gibbs oil and a soft brass toothbrush. Coarse ore stainless hurts paint. Fine steel wool works well also.

I've been using Gibbs oil for a long time. I use it at work for precision gauges. It doesn't dry and cause precision gauges to stick like other light oils do.
