On Apr-22-03 at 19:08:26 PDT, seller added the following information:
You guys just have to keep playing you childish games .You can't contact seller if your not intelligent enough to use a phone of which orange 396 obviously can't.

Think about it. He is Committing Fraud by selling the Fake COPO. Any Emails from People telling him its a Fake could potentially be used against him and I'm sure he will be very Happy to tell you all kinds of lies over the Phone that he probably wouldn't want a Record of if it was done by Email. Someday he is gonna Rip Off the Wrong Guy and we won't have to worry about him anymore. This is the same fake COPO that they had posted color copies of My timeslips out of My Silver COPO as if they belonged to the Fake. The Trim tag says Vinyl top but there are no signs of the orig 1/4's ever having a Vinyl top. He will probably end up trading it for the Orange 3000 mile L89 Convert.

This is a good example of why a seller would choose the private bidders option. No one can contact the bidders to inform them, and Charley hit the nail on the head. The seller won't answer any emails because they can be saved as evidence if you will.On the other hand The verbal phone comunications normally can't for the most part.
Good observation on the email response to budnate.
This guy is to much.....

Phone conversations can always be recorded. Gotta check out the local spy shop and see what they have in stock

an idea, someone start a new auction with somthing in the title that relates to this car being a clone so that when bidders search for it, they see, and will realize the car is a clone as you say it is.

Its a shame that itís a private auction if its on the up & up some poor Joe is about to get screwed and watch it be back for sale six months later
Charlie was right as rain some day Dennis will screw the wrong person
And that will be the end of it but this clown car WILL change hands many more times
Heck it might set a record as the car with most owners

This fellow wants me to prove that is a fake. I am not the one selling it! All he has to do is get the COPO certifcation and he could shut everyones mouth including mine! I'm sure Ed would be glad to verify it for him, the small price that he charges is nothing compared to value of a real COPO!
