Oh yea really lucked out by having my "Friend" Sheriff Officer when I got stopped going 85 mph on the way to the Drag Strip and only got a Friendly Warning!!

I heard from the grapevine, it was ficticious front plate, no seat belt(s), as well as doing 85 mph. Man, I wish I had friends like that, where can I find some?

Lets just say next year's "special guest" will be a member of the Collinsville PD.

[ QUOTE ]
The Best was being there with "MY SON" and to see him Race down the track and had a 509 light with the SS Truck.

[/ QUOTE ]

Ref the above quote. Mark your son cut a 5.09 light, that had to be the best light of the day. For a 23 year old NHRA Sports Compact driver, driving a SS Silverado, that's awesome!!! Know of anyone cutting a better light?

I have to agree with everyone else !! AWESOME EVENT !!

I was quite humbled having my Biscayne there in the presence of all of those killer SuperCars. Thanks for letting me "hang" with you guys for the weekend. It is definitely a *must-go-to* event for me from now on. It was really cool to see all the guys that ran their cars on Friday at the track. That's what these cars are all about, and we got to see some of the rarest iron on the planet making passes down the dragstrip.

Kudos to Rob and Tom and all of their "clan" that helped with the event. GREAT job guys !!

I could type a book, but would only repeat the words of others, so, in short = awesome show

It was pleasure to meet so many nice people; Bill & Rita, Frank Sr & Jr, Anders from Sweden, Ed Gilpin, Dave Thorson, Alen Colvin and his wife, Steve, Jeff, Annie... the list goes on and on. It's always great to see those friends from prior reunions or pure stock events, another long list.

Can't wait for SCR8
