As the seasons of American Hot rodder are going on his hawiian shrits are looking more like Moo Moo's, (Remember the Simpsons episode where Homer wants to work at home so he gains a bunch of weight so he's considered handicapped, and can only wear Moo Moo's), same thing!!

I was watching an episode (nothing else on) where they were building the Sobe' station wagon and Dwayne was ragging on some rookie (nothing new) about finding some lost parts or they will never meet their deadline, but as he walked away you could see the finished car in the background, And why is it that there is always an unrealistic deadline for these cars (that they always seem to meet just like the OCC guys, must be the same writer!), yet you see these finished cars in the background of other episodes? Why arnt these cars gone to their new owners that are waiting so impatiently?. I had a friend that has worked on overhaulin and he had seen some of boyds work and he said the fit and finish just wasent there for the $ he was asking. I also saw on e-bay (i don't know if its still there) the red pro street vette was for sale for somewhere around the 300k mark, said he had more than that into it. WOW watching the episode with that vette OVER $300k INVESTED!!!!. Boy did Boydd clean house there. Watching the Elvis Cadillac episode got me going too. This womens pride and joy who's dead husbands car which was his prized baby, was sold to boydd and when he got to the shop he burned the tires to the ground and then his crew laughed about how much of a piece of junk it was. Don't they think the lady just might watch the show?, (they did the same thing ridiculing the owners of the sobe' car) real class guys, then they proceeded to pick the car apart while building it ridiculing the Reeses company for picking such an ugly color, again don't they think the NEW owners are watching. Again real class. But then again every customer is an idiot on every show in Dwaynes eyes.

When you look at the 2 shows (american hotrod / Chopper), for a compnay to get that kind of air time would cost them a fortune, so for them to spend a few hundred on some junk bucket it's a bargin.
