Joe,
Please send Bruce some pictures of the Nova so he can post them for us all to see . Your car is so worthy of this site and seeing it in person I'm just sorry I didn't get a chance to meet you( old Nova Guy Too). Bruce took us over to your car and I loved it! Also after we left we followed you to the freeway, at the light we pulled up next to you (White Honda Fit, with three dudes) your car sits just right and has a very stout sounding motor.

By the way, A & W, was that on Manchester or was that Bob's. Did you ever street race that Nova in the San Fernando Valley???

Thanks guys!! I'm overwhelmed at this response!! I'll do my best in the next couple days to send Bruce some cool photos. By the way Bruce, those OCIR timeslips bring back some good memories. I only raced there a couple times and don't even have one picture of the car there. 47Hammer - sorry I missed you, but were you the one who chose me off at the light??!! I told my son that I would never race an import!! The A&W I went to was on Hawthorne Blvd. It was a really cool street to cruise on. Only time I ever made it to the Valley was when I flat towed the car there just to cruise it one night!! Wow, I can't believe the "flash-backs" I'm getting!! Gotta go to sleep now before I hit overload.

Hi Bruce,
Great to see you at Coffee and Cars and meeting a couple of the SYC members Mark/LateBrakeU2 and Bart/47Hammer. Wish we would have had more time to talk. It blew my mind that you remembered Joe's Nova from when you saw it in 1981. If I don't see you sooner I'll see you at Barrett Jackson's next year. Glad you enjoyed Coffee and Cars and got your car fix while you were in Ca.
Later buddy,

Hey Joe,
Glad you replied to the SYC site and the response you got is well deserved. You and your Nova are exactly what this hobby is all about. Not many guys have the car they ordered new, dragged raced and cruised in the day when these cars ruled the streets. Your still doing it in the same car today! When was the last time you ran the Nova at the drags? Also, please put the tow brackets back on the car. Just remember who's in line for the Nova! See you at one of our hangouts. We'll never growup and thats a good thing.
Later Buddy,
Dave L.
