From a few pages back, but still may be of interest to some.
Some observations: -- I think the 1968 Firebird page may be wonky. I need to cross-reference RAII numbers because I thought the total was 108 with an unknown number of ragtops? -- 5 of the 4-speed RAIV GTO ragtops were Judges, so the number 59 is really 54 GTOs and 5 Judges, with 45 being 4-speeds and 5 of those being Judges. No Judge ragtops were built with the RAIV M40. -- Convertible Judge RAIV numbers for 1970 have never been properly defined. |

I found several sites that show 68 Firebird RA II production as 110. They didn't list convertible production, but I did find several references to 8 being built. I'm not sure where that number originated from.
I found several sites that show 70 GTO RA IV convertible production as 24 with 4 speeds and 13 with automatics for a total of 37. I found several articles referencing 17 Judges and 20 GTO's being built. Again I'm not sure where that breakdown came from. Some of these production numbers I've seen so many times in writing that I just took them as fact. The different production breakdowns that I found online match the above posted sheets. |
