Got a cracked engine block at the auction. Crack was found after I put time and money in it. It wasn't even one of the rusty/pitted ones ( who would buy one of those? ). Looks like if you buy from the auction you should bid less than scrap value for what you get maybe it will be a deal then. Wonder if the guns mentioned before are worth anything? Beware of this junk being resold after the bidder finds it worthless.

Why didn't you have the block magnafluxed before you put any money into it? Just because it was Al Maynard, doesn't mean that every part he owned didn't have flaws or issues.

Tell us the type of block and #s on your cracked block so we know it when we see it.

Fourth auction day is June 24.

Al Maynard auction number 4

Looks like much of what's left will go for what it weighs. There may be something that will trip your trigger, but most likely only if you are on site and see something in a pile that you really want.
