Okay, I'm new here. But here's a tid bit of Info on a certain Corvette in a movie. The Corvette in the Cleopatra Jones movie is a 1973 Baldwin Motion Performance Phase III Corvette. Now my question is, how can I find the specs on that car. The reason how I know it is a BMP Phase III Corvette, is because I searched down when the movie came out. That's when I found out about, BMP of Long Island,NY. So with that, how can I find the specs???
Thanks for any help at all!!!!

Hi I talked to the third owner again. The strip was painted on !!! (not a decal) He said it was 12 to 14 inches wide and he called it a strobe strip because it started out light green and got darker as it went over the roof and trunk. He also said the color changes were about every 3 to 4 inches.

I believe he has said that it has signs of Motion mods...
Not a BM car.

"I have a baldwin copo 69 camaro and it has all the tell, tell signs of the motion cars, I was talking to some people that heard that there was one or two copos that were motion cars !! "

Reads to me as the OP is saying his car might be a Motion car... not merely a car with Motion mods.

I get it that BM cars tend to be more desirable than Motion tuned cars. Certainly there are some exceptions- say maybe a Motion tuned racecar or car with racing provenance. Even a known street racing car tuned by Motion would be pretty desireable to me.

I am very suspicious with this car's association to anything Motion other than some over the counter parts, which is still kinda cool but a bit of a streach to speculate that it actually had any Motion wrenching or tuning done.

I agree with Bill, that the OP referencing "tell-tale-signs" is kinda(intentionally?) implying more Motion pedigree than what it may have.
