Know of a Cardinal Red '70 Safari with 454-390HP,was in Burlington.Also know of a Mint Turquoise Safari Estate with 454-345HP.

Hey Todd; You're correct, Central Chev's High Performance Centre was on the north west corner of Talbot & Fullarton Streets. It was originally a Fina Service Station. The attached photo is from a 1969 Wheelspin News. Dave Mathers (who now owns St.Thomas Dragway), Wayne Huber, Tim Wilkins & Gary Dayment were the high performane specialists and Don Brooks was the high performance technician. In 1970, Don moved onto St.Thomas Chrysler and campaigned a SS/DA 70 Hemi Cuda. Both Central Chev/Olds and London Motor Products were hotbeds for GM performance. .............Bill

Yep Pete, here's another cool one. This is from the July 21st edition of the London Free Press. Note the Camaro on the left. Looks like a COPO to me. ............Bill

Here'a Forest Green 427 Strato Chief that a friend ordered New.Assumed it would show up with a stick in the floor.But had to race it with 3 on the TREE.427-390hp,3:55 POSI,clutch fan,+ rt mirror.
