I don't think any tests will prove anything. people can use old paper and wash it, then print. The paper would be the right age and type. But the ink might catch the fakes. technology in ink and paper has greatly changed since 1969.

This is a ongoing subject between myself and Mr Scinto thru snail mail. He is wanting me to put his car in the registry and sends me stuff like this as documentation. NCRS paperwork shows delivery to Oak Hill so I don't see how a Window Sticker with Yenko listed on it could ever happen. I don't study window stickers but I know others do that know the correct fonts etc. I would like to hear from them.

NCRS will be able to validate Chevrolet paperwork in the near future, I'm not sure when that service will be added to the origin reports. The origin report should help since that really tells where the car was originally shipped. If a car was shipped to one dealer and transferred to another, I guess the new dealer could order a window sticker with their dealership name on it from the Zone Office. In that case the entire VIN would be typed since the Zone Office would know the entire VIN.

I think it's made. The font looks wrong & out of place, let alone the bold text looks much more recent then the paper it's printed on.
Plus the factory wouldn't put a colorful individual dealer emblem on it. Only time I've seen the Yenko crest on a window sticker,it looked like this,as Don would issue it. http://www.superchevy.com/events/suc...evy-drag-race/ ![]() Charley, ask triple A if it's one of theirs... http://www.window-sticker.com/ |

Its an Add on Supplemental Sticker from the Dealer showing the "Details, Dealer Conversion/ Add ons. Did you guys get so caught up in analizing Fake GM issued ones, you lost site of a Dealer add on Was and still is Required under the Maroney Act of disclosure.. ...All items added over a factory built car Has to have the Alterations/ Modifications/ Added Parts Disclosed and itemized , priced AND Displayed . When I first was exposed to new cars incoming to dealers of the transporters. ...Window Stickers from GM came on the car glass somewhere, on the seat, in the Dealer to install packages or even in the trunk. Its only required a Dealer Display a sticker And OR Supplement . This is nothing more than The Dealer of Record Showing His Detailed changes and His Dealership Logo On His Printed addendum label. This practice is still done today and Is Required by Federal & State Laws. ask Srephano...... PS The first Jack Douglas Yenkos Came from Yenko ,shipped to JDC.. Later he found out he could order his own COPO Cars & Contracted with YENKO to market his Marquee YENKO Pkg on JDC ordered COPO/Double COPO pkgs actually from Chevrolet and he ordered them with different options than did Yenko.. and maybe even in different color options. So, the questions here are, Is this Sticker an Original, a Reproduction or a FAKE ? AS IT SEEMS THIS CAR IS Questionable , at Best with No Known Connection /Facts/ Yenko Paper Trail ? and a Totally different Dealer of Delivery Record ?
