Man you just gotta love them old Nostalgia Gassers! and if it happens to have the modified wheel bases then thats even cooler! I wish they had more of the around putting on shows! Also the old front engine dragsters.I always wanted to own a front engine dragster,I think they are the cooles dragsters ever built.I could watch them run all day!Keep them cool pictures coming.I am drooling so much I had to put a towel down to keep from shorting out the keyboard. And to the owner of the Mopar altered wheelbase Car that baby is WAY WAY COOL! I love chevys but I also love the MOPARS,OLD Fords,OLD Pontiacs,But especially Chevies and Mopars!

Bobby, you are right, they are very cool. If you ever get the chance, be sure and attend the York US30 show in York, PA. There are always several old Gassers there. In fact, around 170 of the coolest cars in the world. Darwin is kind enough to allow the sYc to show our cars amongst all the other Gassers, rails, funnycars, etc.

As per FE dragsters, cool to say the least, but having looked inside several, not for sure if that is for me. Sitting on the RE/trans.. A person would need really big ones to drive one of those.

I think we should move this thread and create a new Forum for factory drags cars , S/S, A/FX , Gassers etc so there is a dedicated place to discuss these early creatures !

Bruce told me he found this car at about the same time he found one of his funnycars. He could not afford to restore both, so he let Big Daddy have the Chevelle. He wishes he had been able to keep the Chevelle.

The car looks killer, jacked up and all.

Thanks for sharing.
