I will have to check on teh Rallys, can anyone tell if it was on option on the sales sheet? As for the above question, I would be guessing if i answered that. But i thought they were ordered with the 396...but again each one seems different so again i am passing this to someone more informative.

They started out with L78 cars and went on from there...if Baldwin Chev. didn't have the right car at the lot they may trade with other local dealers.

This car is my favorite. Just incredible. It will be interesting what inglewood tires tires turn out to be, and getting some period correct tires on it.

Bill Krech's Inglewood Tire Co. was one of those early California companies that fueled the hot rod movement with specialty tires. They were a charter member helping to found SEMA.
They supplied midget racers with tires in the forties and made those wide whitewall recap slicks you remember from the early sixties. They were M/T's competition on those L 60's and such we all loved back in the late sixties. I don't think they have been in business for quite some time.

This car to me is the ultimate Motion car - it's what I drooled after in Baldwin's showroom weekly! A black with red stripe '69 427 Motion Camaro - it just doesn't get any better!!!

Also for NovaJed, my aunt always said the side pipes get really hot and she always thought she would burn her legs. Luckily so far it has been too cold here so i have alway work jeans when i have driven it.

I can only imagine how restrictive that exhaust system is...it kills horsepower, but it looks so nice! I think you would wet yourself with the increase in power if you ran out through open headers...

As you will notice, I have removed several pictures from this thread, mostly of Motion paperwork. This was done per the owner's request, fearing that it might be used to build, and then "document" another Motion car. As much as I hate to see the photos gone, I have to agree.

Smart move, and I apologize for putting them up. I just thought (at the time) that Mike had posted the link so I might make them easier for others to view.
No harm intended Mike.

I would never have a problem with the guys here that love the cars with showing or taking pictures of whatever is asked, it is the ones that have alternative motives for deception that myself and everyone has issues with. Since it is a public site you just cant determine what could possibly be done with the information. Sorry i had to do this, but i think it is the safest. Thanks for everyone input! You definatley know your stuff.

Dennis, I think it was good to post the pictures for a short time, as we know what happens when someone says I have docs, etc, but will not let anyone see them.
