There's a couple in Texas still, but a little far from you.
From what I have seen they are run down and just hanging on.

Those in New Jersey and Pennsylvania would be a hike. I wouldn't be able to convince my wife to go that far just for a movie.

Yeah...I have my own copy of 'It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad world' in DVD. That movie cracks me up, especially the part at the very beginning where Jimmy Durante kicks the bucket when he finally dies...literally.

Here is an old one I hung out at south of Youngstown at the intersection of rts 14 &amp; 7. This is a great thread, that has tought or reminded me of several things:

1. I miss urban grit.
2. We are no where near as industrialised as we once were.
3. The '70s really were a fashion disaster.
4. There were some really sad Chistmas trees in the past.
5. Maybe restoring things to how they were originally built is over sanitising reality.
