1969 L78 breakdown by Trans. 3-speed and 4-speed combines the 396 375HP and 350 HP motors together.
3-speed: 448 units 4-speed: 19,909 units 3-speed automatic has the more detailed breakdown by HP: 350 HP 4848 Units 375 HP 1639 All above are Turbo 400's. Paul

The only breakdown in the manner you asked is for total chevelle production of each category nit just for L78's, so the total for 4-spd is broken down by total M21, M22's and I image the balance of the total is for M20's. Same for 3-speeds. Now under each of the RPO's there is somewhat of a breakdown. The majority of the options are broken by ECL code, at times they list models in addition other times a range, as an example under M20, there are 3 different ECL codes but the lines also list L34,L78 so each line combines the totals for both. Depending on the year, some have more model detail than others but all breakouts are by ECL codes. Paul
