Congratulations, Rich!

Don't let this one get away from you again.

(Do I hear 7,800 in the 1/4 mile soon?)

Thanks guys, went over TS today and it is untouched other than being dirty and a now leaking fuel regulator, they didn't change a thing (thankfully).

Ron's son Jason Terrell opened a shop in Covington, Kentucky called...... Tin Soldier Racecars and Fabrication.

https://www.facebook.com/tinsoldierracecars/?ref=br_rs

http://www.tinsoldierracecars.com/

I will probably send her up there to get freshened up and let Mr. Ron look her over then planning on SCR 22, hopefully talking Mr. Ron and Jason into coming.

Still can't believe that the guy from Alabama (Chuck?) (that found the superbird with his son), who bought TS didn't do what he said and restore it.

It actually wound up in a local car dealers collection.

However, when the guy that bought it from me stated that he was restoring it left my house, I got a call from someone claiming to be his partner or some such. Since the buyer didn't mention anything but restoring the car I didn't question it. He said he couldn't get the buyer on the phone and what deal did "we" work out? I told him the selling price and we hung up.

The buyer called me back peeved to the max. Apparently he had a deal to flip TS to a collector in Houston (apparently the caller) in some elaborate trade and told him he bought TS for much more than he did. That guy called me and pretended to be an associate to the buyer. Which is fine (the flip), this is America, but if he would have been honest with me I would have been more wary.

Maybe that deal fell through and that's why the local dealer guy wound up with it?

Maybe only due to providence is the only reason TS is not a red COPO restored trailer queen today? Who knows. Hopefully I can find out.

/Rich

For some of the guys that didn't see it in 2013, here is the video at the Camaro Nationals (very non pro ) that we took at the reveal to Mr. Ron. Jason his son tricked him into coming to the nats saying that Hot Rod wanted to do an article about him.

We intentionally put TS near the NastyZ28 tent away from the other supercars and outside as the show agreed to allow him to take it for a ride.

Jason knows, we are hatching another scheme. More to come......

Should have, but well, life. Glad that I have it back now though.
