Did 70s have the vin by filter like 69s? I saw this car on ebay also

Looks like a CTG stamp....auto 70 Z would be CTC
VIN would be down by the filter Not to mention a January 18 stamp for an 03A car. Way too early. My block is a first week April stamp for a second week April TT.

Yes, Norwood cars for sure. Van Nuys cars had it on the pad under the alternator.

Well it sold for $29,500 back on Nov 1. Agreed, that stamping doesn't look right

CTG stamping is a 1970 Corvette 350-300 HP block and Norwood Camaros from that time period would normally have VIN stamp by the oil filter and not on the front pad. Still a good looking car.
