1969 SS/RS L89 from Hot Rod or Car Craft

Hi all

Does anyone remember an article about a Hugger Orange 1969 SS/RS L89, that came out in either Hot Rod or Car Craft in the late '80's?

I don't own the car....but always wondered if it was legit and what happened to it..

Same thing with the Competition Cams (think it was CC) black 1969 SS/RS Camaro from their ads of the same period..
