FWIW, the Daytona's were not a popular car from new. I ordered a '72 'Cuda and took delivery in May and that dealer, and others, still had them sitting in the back rows at that time. As time rolled on, they became "collectors", but it seems to have a small interest group in actually owning one, unlike that Camaro, which had a following since day 1.

I hope that car never sees the inside of a body shop! That car is perfect for picking up pizza and beer!

Very cool to see the car and hear the chain of events with it finally changing hands after all those years? Obviously someone at the show would have asked the owner on the details of the drive line and perhaps offered to take pics of the engine and underside?

Anyone talk to them about the engine and trans? Anyone get any pics under the hood?

Was cool to see in person, this was one of the cars that I went to see. I hope the owners come to the forum and post a progress thread, how cool would that be.

I heard the floors in the car are a bit rough? I was impressed by how good the exterior sheet metal looked.
