Default help to identify wiring monte carlo

Trying to help a friend with some issues on a 1971 Monte Carlo SS (we think). One of the issues is this wiring connector. He has an assembly manual but pages seem to be missing and nothing matched up. Is this the connector for the TCS solenoid? He will not be running one but we want to make sure that this is what it is and shouldn't go to something else. Will also be posting in general discussion on any sure fire ways to tell if it is a Monte SS. Thanks!
