Dad's '65 Malibu
I could use some help in identifying a car in the photos below
The tow car is my father's '65 Malibu. Unfortunatley he passed before we could discuss the photo. They have been in storage in FL. for the last 12 years. Dad grew up on Carthage Ave. in Norwood just around the corner from the plant. I'm fairly certain the bird on the hood was added? The car "in tow" looks to be a '55 or '56? I would like to have the pictures framed to hang in my shop but I would like to know what the car is before I hang it up. Any help would greatly be appreciated.

Re: Dad's '65 Malibu
56 with custom tail light lenses and slightly modified side trim.

Re: Dad's '65 Malibu
And the tan car they are standing in front of, is a 57 Chevy minus the front bumper (a common customizer and weight saving trick back in the day)

Re: Dad's '65 Malibu
Thanks guys!
I was guessing 56 but the tail lights were throwing me off.
