Yes, there is a difference from the older Cragars to the newer Cragars......the spokes are flatter, not as round/curved as the older ones.

Rims are different as well..look at the rear rims on the black Camaro versus the ones I posted

Gotta do the Cragars. IMO, (I know) some of the day 2 stuff never left; kinda like penny loafers. I've always liked '60-'70s drag-inspired street cars LONG before today's popularity. Not a big fan of the side-pipe headers, or any side exhaust for that matter, and some rear tires stick out too far. I really dig the late '69 early '70 Pro Stock/Super Stock look where the car still started life as a production model and resembled such. The black '68 is damn near perfect in the looks dept. As for the "Mid Life" and this thread's original poster, not a whole lot to do on either car. Wheels, some under hood changes and VOILA!!! Back to Woodstock!!!

I love that silver '68 with the slots someone posted above. Mark - those would look great on your new Camaro! I never did care for the centerline 500 wheels that you say it wore back in the early 1980s.

Nice!!
Especially like the rear tires, how the sidewalls bulge out(not sure of correct term).
Questions, how is this achived with let's say a G60-15 tire? What size wheel should be used?
Maybe this is a dumb question but I would like to get that look for my build, looks assume!!!
Thanks

Those are 15 x10 Cragars with 3.75 BS and N50 tires 11/3/4-12" wide 27.50-28 tall depending on tire brand. G60-15 max rim would be 8" wide and I think those tires are 26" tall.
Silver camaro = 15 x 8.50 with L60-15's>28" tall

IMO g60's are just too small for 67-69 Camaros.

Thanks for reply, I should state that my build is not a camaro...I like the sidewall profile on the Camaro pictured was just trying to get that same look with the G60's as that's about the max tire size for my car. Thanks

If you want the sidewalls to bulge, put the G60s on a narrow rim (no wider than 6-7".
