Wiped it down with original formula Go-Jo hand cleaner and let it sit for a few hours. Then, I worked it in with a fine scuff pad. I let it sir some more, and then hit it with a steam cleaner. I'll post pics a bit later today.

The last few days I have removed the fuel tank to clean it, and the surrounding area of dirt, undercoating, and anything else the does not belong in there.

I must say, I found some undercoating that struck me as a factory finish. It is much more robust than anything else I had found on this car or the 80 Z28 I recently did the same thing with. NJ Steve, I looked through a couple of your threads and did not see anything real conclusive that would mirror my findings.

I got the trans back from Crash a couple of weeks ago, and all of the new exhaust parts came in. On the advice of NJSteve, I purchased the Pypes system along with the Ram Air Restoration manifolds. Just waiting for the exhaust tips and the car will be for the most part, finished.
