Default 4.56 original GM 12 bolt gears

I recently bought a rare 67 Chevelle "KM" code 12 bolt axle (4.56 posi that -the way i understand it, was only available as a dealer install) that currently has 4.88 gears in it. I'd like to put the 4.56's back in if someone has a set that would be available for a reasonable price. thanks, Jeremy Clark

preferably. i sold a set a few years ago that had almost no miles on them and were set up perfectly with the pinion depth accurately recorded and i couldn't hardly give them away. seems no one wants 4.56's ....maybe I should just leave the 4.88's in the thing and let someone choose their own ratio....just figured a factory 4.56 is pretty rare and should put it back that way....open to opinions.....

Someone on this site had original gm 4:56 gears for sale a few months ago. Search back. You’ll find them
