The few Broadcast copies out there indicate automatics were built with TN rear shocks [3192832] manual trans were built with UN rear shocks [3192851].

Not enough data on fronts but 3192477 is common. NOS has been found with original PS labels.

Default 69 Camaro SS L78 Spiral Shocks 3192832 vs 3192851 (vs 3192481)

Does anyone know if front Spiral Shocks Part No. 3192481 came originally on any L78 or L72 T400 69 Camaros?

The 481's on my low miles car are leaking, pitted and have date stamps corresponding to the car's build date which leads me to believe they are originals (along with the other verified original front suspension parts) but everything I read says that BB cars came with 3192477's.

The rear spirals on my car are 3192832's which Willam and at least one other source says are correct.

I'm trying to verify if the 481's are correct before sending them out to be rebuilt.

Thank you,

Jim

The 481s are the correct shocks for your car as long as it doesn't have F41. Those shocks should be marked "PW". Warren helped me to get the correct shocks for my car....Joe
