Default Tucson AZ weekend of 3/4-3/5

Going to be visiting the in-laws in Tucson the weekend of 3/4 - anyone know of anything car related happening down there at that time? Cars and Coffee type events, cruise-in, shows, etc.

Would love to make the trip up to Pavilions but probably not enough time so local to Tucson is better.

Thanks in advance.

Hi Jake

If you like planes at all, you may want to check out the Pima Air and Space Museum!

----Yup, Jake,,,What Bruce said! My aunt lived in north Tucson and I visited often and never missed going to Pima. Also look into driving up Mount Lemon. It's just on the north side of Tucson. Hope my memory is correct. It's a great scenic drive and there's a little restaurant at the top that has the best pies I've ever had a bite of. My Dad and I always made the trip up the hill!.....Bill S

Yes, Mount Lemon is a nice drive.
Bill is that the cafe in SummerHaven, or at the ski resort ? We ate at the cafe and it was good. Don't recall having pie though. Might need to go back...
Some cool switch backs and steep grades.

Now, for a family outing, run down to Tubac. It's about an hour south but really a fun village to visit. LOTS of gift stores, Local and native arts and crafts and restaurants.
Yard ornaments, pottery and furniture.

Thanks ! - That is already on the list - which is one of the reasons we won't have time for Pavilions.

I live for swap meets that have any connection to circle car racing. They seem to bring out such a varied assortment of parts, much of which has nothing to do with circle car racing. There's gold to be had there for sharp buyers....
