i built a track all scalectric a few years ago for my daughter and i ...got a little carried away. i scratch built most of the buildings and all the signs.

There was a good slot car track on Milwaukee and Devon on the north side of Chicago right by Super Dawg. It was there in the 60's. I had a good size track in our basement that kept me occupied on those cold winter days. The guys and I would spend hours down there.

Wow. I remember getting these expensive foam tires, I saved for weeks. Lol. They helped a lot to stay on the track.
