Im not really a 40s-50s guy...but this blows my mind..the quality is over the top...the ingenuity is unbelievable..and they completely change the whole personality of the car.

I saw that car at Good-Guys Scottsdale last year so a search can probably turn up more pics. It was a big winner. I know I took pics of it.

Car was built by wicked fabrication out of Washington. Amazing car. Owner raced European cars hence some of the styling cues. He has since passed and not sure who owns it now.

Car was commissioned by Bruce Leven and built by Wicked Fabrication in Auburn, WA, painted by Byers Custom in Auburn, WA. It was a long term project, done over a number of years. It was still owned locally by those who Mr. Leven willed it to last I heard.
With Leno https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XISoGSeNZtg Interview with the late owner, Bruce Leven. He had quite a life and legacy. Made a couple fortunes, raced factory Porsches I believe. This interview on another of his cars gives you an idea of his aesthetic. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QplvyKDot64 |

In the immortal words of Indian Larry, I love the mechanicalness of it. The exposed shifter looked really cool, almost like the one in the Pagani Huayra.
