Hello friends
Hello all!
After multiple conversations regarding this site and the great members here, Steve has graciously invited me to introduce myself and hopefully, share some of your amazing stories. As an automotive author/journalist and storyteller, I’ve had the great privilege of working with and providing content for many of the most recognizable publications in the industry. Enter 2020… This unprecedented year brought the abrupt end to many of our favorite rags and as a writer, well you can see where this wound up… Not willing to let great stories be lost to the lack of publications, I accepted a longstanding offer to host my own podcast with the focus on great stories from real people. If you are interested in sharing your story I’d love to hear from you! Although I love amazing builds, our focus is on the great people across the hobby and what we all have in common, the love and passion for these cars. We talk road trips, tunes, great memories, friends, events, and all the stuff you may expect when car folks sit around and shoot the breeze. You don’t need a trailer queen or a high dollar ride to have a great story. Thanks for the space Steve! JP Emerson Automotive author/Journalist jpemerson.com |

Welcome to one of, if not the, best sites on the internet.
You might want to run through the Members Rides forum for some of the cars and stories there as there's some gold in there.

Welcome aboard. Losing these magazines hurt us all so your input will be welcomed. Been doing this for 44 years so hopefully I can help with some stories as well as restorations. Enjoy they crowd. They are great here and with no B/S.

Welcome to the site. The good news is I've saved thousands of magazines from the 60's and 70's. As my memory fades, I car revisit them and it will be like the first time.....

Thanks for the welcome all!
To clarify a few questions I have already received, yes this would be for a podcast that will launch in the next few days. I'd love to write stories about all of your great cars but the fact is, the publications aren't running them currently. Freelancers and their costs were among the first to see the writing on the wall when Covid reared it's ugly head. This is the next best thing. Also... No, there is no cost. Just me on my own nickel hoping to keep great stories available for all to tell and share. The entire process in a nutshell is: Tell me, email me, or send me a link to your story. Builds are great but I want to know about YOU first and your ride second. People bond with people and this hobby/industry is full of great ones. That is what I am after. Shoot me your contact info and I will reach out to you for more discussion. Our podcast recording takes about an hour and has a finished time of anywhere from 35min to a full 60 depending on where we ramble off to! No, it is not a video podcast, audio only. Only you and I will see each other as we conduct via Zoom. Yes, we already have episodes recorded and ready to release. And yes, we will be sure to mention and promote this site with every member who is a guest! Feel free to contact me directly if you would like more info and thanks again for the welcome. JP |

A Big Welcome
JP welcome to The Supercar Registry, the home of enthusiasts who live and breathe American Musclecars. I'm sure you'll find our members depth and breadth of Musclecar knowledge simply amazing.
Delving into how members migrated to a specific make and model and their stories and histories will be quite interesting to say the least.
