Default Urgent: coil/starter wiring help

Trying to get the yelow sub put back together...had been running an msd setup (going pertronix) so it was all different and I've forgotten how it was originally, lol.

Anyway, on the starter, the heavy purplish wire goes on the r terminal and the lighter yellow wire goes on the s terminal?

But on the coil, ive got a brownish wire with a spade terminal, a yellow wire with a spade terminal, and a tanish white wire with the end broken off that feels different than the others (resistance wire)? I need yellow and resistance wire on + side of coil? For some it wont crank a bit...

Rob
Starter wires you got right. On the coil + terminal "yellow wire and the resistance wire" with the cloth insulation. On the - terminal "brown tach signal and a black wire from the dist"
If it does not crank, maybe another problem.

Called Mo...had the wires a$$-backwards on the starter. Onc wired correctly, fired right up, sounded good...now to the track to see if we did any good.
