that is channeled and shortened ... a lot ...

very cool find

the good thing is you dong have to do any paint or body work, just a bunch of mechanical work

the current craze is rusty patina, it would fit right in ...

Here are a couple photos of two vettes we rescued. Both have been sitting since the early 70's. First is a 63 Stingray splitwindow, featuring alot of custom bodywork. The second is a 70 LT-1 wearing a motion paint job.

Looks like a 3-Speed '63 Corvette. It reminds me of the '63 Z06 Corvette my father purchased in Springfield, MO. in 1979 for $1200 while parked in a backyard with a for sale on it. He was even able to drive it home.

71 Torino Cobra in central MN

1977 Chevy 4x4 This pickup used to drive by my house back in the early 80's as I waited for the school bus. I fell in love with this truck as a youngster and found it 4 years ago. The owner had a stroke and the truck sat for years before a friend of the owners brought it to his house where the pic was taken. One winter a few years ago I approached the person who was storing the truck and asked if it was for sale. He said that it was but another guy had dibs on it before me. After another year I went back and the truck still was there. I was able to work out a deal and now own my favorite truck! Mods added by the owner were: 6inch body lift, 44 inch monster mudders, and the duely box.

Really tough to see all these cars in this shape! No surprise, but pictures make you think when you've grown up with these cars. So glad there is a forum like this one!
