Default '58 Corvette Project, been sitting a while....

Guessing the current seller hasn't had it too long - was previously owned by a guy who'd had it since 1963 and wasn't able to have it restored.

I'm seeing a lot more of this situation (older guy getting up in years, selling off his stuff, stuff gets flipped). At some point prices for these cars have to settle down with all the 'new' supply coming onto the market. I'd like to have an early solid-axle Corvette one of these days.

Looks like someone just used a bunch of red spray paint on the outside and the seats to spiff it up for the auction pics. Seeing how the bottom of the core support is rotted away I wonder how bad the frame is.
