Default Hennessey Corvette paperwork

I purchased serial # 034 2016 Hennesey Corvette. Hennessey verified the car but Won't give me any paperwork stating what had been done to the car which of course being the owner I would like to have. They said because I'm Not the original Owner of the car. Any thoughts on what you guy's think I should do ? Or does anyone know somebody who can help me out with this Situation. Thanks.

He was a car Dealer that had Vettes & Lamborgini's & a Bunch of Cool Rides . Said he got it with No paperwork but bought it Cause it had all the Hennessy Trademarks & Serial tags & Never tried to get any paperwork. I just Don't Understand why they Wont give me any Copies of my cars Work orders. they did tell me it had 33,000 dollars of add ons.

What if you prove to them you're the owner... title/documents in your name?

Do a title search and contact the original owner. That's what we did.

I’ve heard similar stories with other builders. The original owner gets copies, then the builder keeps copies. See if you can at minimum get photo copies of the originals while you try and find the original owner. Rob

Thanks for the imput guy's. I did prove to them it was my car & I actually had told them my Hennessey Engine plate with Serial # on it was Deformed & coming off & they sent me a new one for free but just wouldn't e-mail me or give me copies of the work performed. I guess I'm going to try & track down the original owner & see if she ( they told me a lady built the car when it was new) can get documents from them & offer her some money.

If a company did not do the work they said they did they may be reluctant to provide paperwork which indicates what they were supposed to have done.... just sayin.

Maybe a new policy? Had a Hennessey car a while back (was 3rd owner) and Don Goldman at Hennessey was very proactive in providing documentation - including dyno sheets - and John wrote a verification letter. Car was a blast, too. Have fun w/yours and here's to success in collecting the paperwork!
