There are some great shots of CA gone by here. I live within a mile of both the Saturn Production Facility in Seal Beach and the water tower shot in Sunset Beach. The Saturn assembly buildings are on the Navy Weapons Base and pretty much look the same. NAA actually produced the sections of the Saturn rocket in its buildings across the street and trucked them underneath Seal Beach Blvd to the assembly complex you see in the picture where they were loaded on top of one another and railed down to the dock area, put on a barge and shipped to the launch site. Rockwell bought NAA and Boeing bought Rockwell and just tore down the NAA production buildings a few years ago to make way for commercial warehouses there.
The water tower you see at the north end of Sunset Beach was converted into a house and has been pretty much on the real estate market since. Not very practical as a house, probably. I think the latest asking price is $4.5M. I remember years ago thinking it would never sell at under $1M.
