It wouldn't have been my first color choice, but I bet that car will click off 13 second 1/4 mile passes!

....with the AC on. Unfortunately the car also is a bench with a column shifter, which hurts it tremendously from a curb appeal standpoint.

I loved it when I had my big block Nova...column shifted auto with Art Carr shift kit. I surprised MANY 4 speed cars...I think column shifts are cool!

(of course...I have a 4 speed Chevelle...and I see your point! )

Bruce,

I actually like the bench seat/column shift combo as well--my 1972 Buick GS455 convertible is thus equipped (they all came with bench seats in '72, although there were a few 4 speeds) and it's a great ride. However, I'm under no illusions that a bench/column shift has the same draw as a buckets/4 speed or a buckets/auto with floor shifter. This Stage 1 is a really nice car and I'd be happy to have it (maybe Charlie can buy it for me with the proceeds from his Super Snake sale) but the combo of brown inside/out, bench and column shifter reduce the price by some perceivable percentage.
