Could have been ordered through Hansen or Clippinger or any number of dealers who commonly ordered special paint cars. The Dana hood doesn’t do anything for me without a story…. That said I hope it’s something special!

pretty neat for being a special order paint car alone.

Build date of 04C and 4P on the trim tag pretty much rules out a Dana car. Wouldn't it have come from the factory with a BB already ?

I questioned the hood on why it has no orange paint on it anywhere. And asked who the orig ordering dealer was. Never got back to me. Then it was for sale for a significant price reduction. Seemed like his needle in the haystack didn’t pan out….

The car was sold new at Jack Wall Chevrolet in Pasadena, CA per the NCRS report. I've known about the car since at least 2016.

Dana used that hood on some cars but it was not specific to Dana.

It was made by Berry Plasti-Glass and anyone could have bought one.

Dana had some orange Camaros but was not the only dealer to order special paint orange Camaros
