Default Shorter accelerator cable for 1970 Z

I need a shorter accelerator cable for my 70Z, with the cross ram it moves the carb right in front of the fire wall. with looping the cable, it has a bind, or tightness when first pushing on the pedal.

Any thoughts? I really don't want to use the Lokar steel braided.

thanks

Default

I dont have a part number for a shorter cable, I do have a idea of what I would do. I would shorten the firewall side of the cable and attach the original firewall piece to the cable housing. Inside at the pedal any cable clamp would do to secure the cable at the gas pedal. Hopeful maybe someone else will have a cable number for you.
