Being in a lot of meetings, I had set my pager to vibrate so that it would not disrupt the meeting by going off.

The only problem was that it felt to me like I was getting a little shock, so every time my pager went off I would go "Whoo!", even during the meeting.

Finally, after three or four times of this happening, the guys in the room were like "Seymore, we sure are glad you put your pager on vibrate so it would not be disruptive".

Back in the early 90's I was at my hunt camp and decided to go visit a guy I knew from the firehouse at his hunt camp a few miles away.

We were sitting in his camper at the table and I asked why he had a pager(it was sitting on the table). He said it was because his wife was pregnant and due any time.

We were drinking beer and talking about some close calls with rattle snakes a short time later when that pager started vibrating on the table. We both about jumped out of our skin.

Not sure, but I was told that there will be no manual transmission available. If it's true then that really sucks.

"The GT500 won’t be offered with a manual transmission. Instead, the GT500 will run a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission from Tremec."
