1969 Camaro back feed linkage color
Can anybody tell me what color the transmission/column lock back feed linkage is supposed to be? It looks like it might be phosphate. Thank you, Joe

Mine are a dirt/grease color, the way it should be
The MacNeish 1969 fact book has 4-5 pages of component colors, most are correct. Shift linkage is "gray/black phosphate" and the column locking mechanism is 30% gloss black. I assume the part bolted to the car is painted.
