Now Citrus Green I can appreciate but IMHO,Frost Green just doesn't speak "performance" to me...

Here is one of mine and I love the color... Mark

Mark,

Mine was 59/59 w/723 interior but when I got it,someone had already changed the int. to Black 711.I intended on re-finishing the car back to code 59 but with White stripes and a deluxe White interior.I had some paint mixed and redid the front grille and repaired some damage on the front header and then just before we got further along on the project,I decided to refinish the car in Yellow which I've always wanted.I choose 2003 Corvette Z06 Millenium Yellow and it looks spectacular even if I do say so myself.

The thing I like about Frost Green is that it changes colors in the shade and always looks slightly different.
I like your car though
I'm starting to convert but I'm not there quite yet...

Wow, funny you guys mention this. I was just thinking today about what my future paint/interior plans will be. My '69 was "triple green"- Frost Green exterior, Midnight Green interior, Dark Green Vinyl top. While the color scheme is definetly unique (and that's being charitable) I don't think it will return to its former glory.

I feel your pain

Carpet, headliner, console, dash pad,Green,Green,Green everywhere and TOO much for me...that was why I changed.I'd feel the same if it was all Blue or all Red.
Now a combination of Green with something else I could live with.I think Frost Green can be sexy in certain combinations but I still don't think of it as "performance" to me,IMHO.

I agree with you. Your hugger orange Z/28 will look sweet sitting between two tuxedo black Z/28's. I'm hoping that you are planning on posting a few picture of this as soon as it happens. I'm a big fan of the hugger orange myself here is a picture of my car. I just sent the pictures to Bruce to post in the members rides. The frost green took a while to get use to but I seen a really nice one this summer at a show that had black stripes and a vinyl top and dark green interior. WOW was that a nice car. Jesse

LOVE Hugger Orange on any '69 Camaro,especially a Z/28!
Would have painted mine that color but my 70 Z is Hugger and I didn't want two of the same...hence,the Yellow.

Do you have any more pictures? I'm intrested in seeing what the whole car looks like.

The one thing that really will keep me from staying true to my trim tag when the time comes is the green vinyl top- that really kills it. Frost Green and Midnight green looks good but not with the vinyl top I'm sure.

Hey,you've almost got me convinced...Very nice car indeed.

And you are a brave man too for going against the obvious Orange/Yellow/Blue colors that are mainstream and keeping a color as rare as Frost Green out there where others can appreciate.

Again,nice car.

I'm Thinking Hugger Orange then Fathom Green, Daytona Yellow and then LeMans Blue. <font color="blue"> </font>
