Default 1970 camaro Jack date

Hi
I'm stumped on this 1970 camaro Jack, the rivet is stamped 3A
Shouldn't that be 1973 January stamp ? but the hook part the say's 1970 camaro UN
has never been removed. Can somebody clarify this for me.
Thanks very much.
Ken

Probably from a 73 Camaro. If the bumpers did not change between model years then no need for a new part. I believe that Nova's from 68-72 all said 68 Chevy II on the bumper hook

All the jack hooks were the same for the 70 to 73 camaro. There was no need to change them. So they continually used the 1970 hook.

There is a very good write up on Nastyz28.com on the 70 to 73 camaro Jack's. I tried to link it. But it didn't work. I will try later with a different computer.

Jack masts varied from Norwood (keystone shaped) to Van Nuys (square shaped) in 1970 at least. May have continued this through 73. Not sure.
