Default '63 Corvette 340hp SWC, Gorgeous Colors

I passed on a '67 RS/SS convertible in these colors maybe 12-13 years ago. Wish I hadn't! The look is very Ferrari-esque to me.

I’m pretty sure that one was on eBay by a different seller in Milwaukee a few months ago. Asking price then was $108k, which seemed like a fair ask but I was busy with work and never went to look it over.

Tags are real but engine is a stamper. Killer color scheme. Some minor detail issues to fix for correctness, but a nice looking 340.

For reference, my sliver 340 (original engine) with owner history back to new and older frame off sold for $120k last year. That is market for a car with original tags and engine. $142k for a stamper is not.

I looked at the car about 10 years ago (before it was restored). At the time, the car needed a top surround on the front end, the correct block, as well as many proper components. There was some solid money to be spent on top of the 80k the owner wanted for it then.

I saw the ad on eBay the last time. Yes, it is a real trim tag. Killer colors. IMO, that car requires a decent amount money to get it into the stratosphere of what the current seller is asking. I considered going to look at the car when it was for sale locally as of recent. I was not a buyer thus, did not want to waste anyone's time.
