Most of the movies today attempt to add a social justice twist, or rampant virtue signalling as part of the plot.

F vs F does neither and it is an unexpected #1 at the Box office.

For the vast majority of movies that want to be politically correct its "get woke - go broke".

I dont know about you guys, but back in the 70's drag racing was one of the most inclusive sports here in south Louisiana. Not many females but plenty of blacks. Other than the odd chest puffing on either side, it was one of the few times i remember no social restraint in mixing. Everyone just loved going fast.

Same here in Detroit.

And - that is still the case.

(Except now we have plenty of females, too).

Wow, that was a fantastic article. Sounds like an amazing individual, bordering on (if not completely) being a genius.

Carroll Shelby was an excellent student of the most basic of good management rules: 'surround yourself with people who are as good or better than you are'.

Went and saw the movie last night. While the subject matter is something most of us old motorheads know and love, I thought the acting was excellent. My 13 year old rolled over and told me he had "chills" during some of the scenes. The movie had me start to finish, and not just because it was a "car" flick

I went to see it yesterday with my wife. While she has become somewhat of a car chick, thanks to me, she didn't know much about the story. She loved the movie and even found herself getting choked up a few times.

I had no idea that Ken Miles was robbed of the win; what a shame. That guy from Ford was a total a-hole (if he truly was portrayed accurately).

I think Matt Damon and Christian Bale did an excellent job; I really enjoyed the movie.
