Default New Kid

Hey,

I'm new to this forum and just wanted to introduce myself....

I'm Ben (friends call me Beano)I'm 14, from Noo Yawk and I own a 1972 Chevy Chevelle Heavy Chevy. I like to wrench on my Chevelle, build models, play VGs, and do whatever else i feel like in my free time.

Now I know some of you are prolly telling me to shaddup and get to the car....so I will....LOL

My Chevelle has a 350 V8, 4spd Muncie, Posi Rear (ratio unknown....found out the posi part the fun way )it has the Domed Hood (not a true CI) full SS gauge cluster, gragar S/S rims, a TON of rot and bondo, and a few 1970s add ons.

Here are some pics......it looks better than it really is.

Look st all the bondo bubble!

and for the rest of the pics go here

It's going to under go a simple restomod (well...as simple as I can get....the poor car is see thru) starting this summer. I bought it for $500 running (sputtering and coughing...but running!)I'm going to paint it the stock gold (visible on all door jambs) and paint on the Heavy Chevy stripe package.

I know the car isn't as impressive as the Yenkos and Baldwins on this site but I'm proud of it.

Welcome aboard Beano!!!! Looks as if your stepping in the right direction instead of those fart muffler rice burners!!! Nice project car you have on your hands and in my book its cooler then a Yenko or Motion because its probably your first car and not a bad choice. I would put the Heavy Chevy stripe package on it as well... Let us know if you need any questions answered...

Eastern Long Island....I'm a town over from Rocky Point. You know where Engines by Elsasser(spelling?) is? I'm only a few blocks away.

Welcome Beano!

It may be a small block, but if it's a Heavy Chevy, then its still special. Get er on the road and take lots of pics for us older guys to talk about!
