I've heard a lot of engine builders swearing by the NGK's so I'm going to go that route when I replace mine. Looks like the NGK BR6S should be the cross ref. for the AC R43's if that would be an easier option to find(?).
Diggin the white headers too! I just heard sets of the M/T Super Scavenger on Youtube etc.. and decided they are on my 'find' list (I really dig the ping-pong idle). Apparently they're being re-popped but I haven't nailed down that source yet. Here's a link to the SBC ones ceramic coated orange..that turn "tomato red" near the primary inlets. Those things SCREAM vintage.:

I have to say yours is one of the nicest combo's I've seen in quite awhile..Kudos! I'm an absolute '70-73 junkie. Here's the one I picked up last summer. It's more of an 80's day-2 vibe...since it was a street brawler from the Rockford, IL area that had been in storage since '92'ish. Lakewood "Traction Action"'s, warmed over '68 L34 transplant w/ "breathed on" LS5 heads, T400, Centerline "Pro Stock" wheels, fiberglass dr. seat w Simpson harness and some pretty unique and nicely done alum. firewall metal work (cover boxes).
Oh yeah. These are the pics as found...I've moved the fuel pump from the shot below. (There were literally five "What not to do" with how/where that pump was mounted that don't even factor in driveability.) I've made some minor but I think cool changes that add to the vibe a bit. I'll post 'em here.
