It was great to meet you Saturday morning and chat a bit about your project Dave. I just finished going through my photos and found certain people lurking in the background. It was another awesome show by all parameters.

"You guys are killin' me.

After reading these threads I pulled some maps and ran some numbers, and looked at my calendar (and looked at some campgrounds) and - I just can't."
Wait, don't you live near Detroit ??? Like 4 hours away ??? Why would you need a campground ??? Leave at 5am, get there at 9am opening, stay until 5pm and be home by 9pm. That's 8 hours of drool time and sleep in your own bed that night...

Now that's funny! I had two of those, so they hold a special shopping cart, anemic, Members Only spot in my memory. A couple 82 GTs too. Snnniff. .memories!

Was so great finally meeting some members here I've only interacted with by username.

See you next year!

Cheers
Dave

That is the first Indy pace car I remember from my childhood. I still think they look cool. Form over performance was the word of the day. I miss when being chosen as the Indy 500 pace car was a big deal, even the short lived decision for a Dodge Stealth (horror!) to lead the field. Ah well. Nostalgia and days gone by.

I'll be looking for it there.
