The impact Tropical Storm Dorian will have on Florida is still uncertain but several meteorologists forecasted that it would hit as a category two hurricane.

1966 Ford Fairlane GTX

Also known as the Fairlane A Go Go, this show car—designed by Ford’s Corporate Projects Studio and built by Gene Winfield—was created to showcase the all-new 1966 Fairlane GT. The GTX was presented as a special Fairlane suitable for both road and track, sporting a conventional exhaust system that could be switched to tuned straight pipes exiting from the rear of the rocker moldings. The front end, hood, and interior also received contemporary modifications, plus the corners were graced by Hurst mags.

Will be at the 2019 MCACN show.

We made the list: 60 Iconic U.S. Restaurants to Try Before You Die. I actually ate here once . . . by accident.

My uncle was in town visiting Alex and I. When we picked him up at the airport he asked me if I knew of a really good Mexican restaurant. I didn't but Alex said he did. I turned to him and asked where? He said El Pinto on 2nd street.

So we made the drive and literally passed it. All you can see is a driveway opening with a little sign. Turned around and went down the driveway for about 500 yards - then you see the front of the restaurant as shown in the photo above.

This place is HUGE! Can seat 1000 people in about 10 different sections. Lots of water fountains inside along with mucho Mexican kitsch.

How was the food? Personally I don't care for Mexican food so I ordered something that has steak in it. My uncle did rave about it.

The faithful gin and tonic was introduced by the British East India Company’s military arm during the 19th century in India, where many had become infected with malaria. As a preventative measure, people drank tonic water, which is made with quinine, an anti-malaria medication. No one liked the bitter taste though, so British officers added gin to make it more palatable. Thus, the G&T was born.
