Default 1963 Split Window (great restomod candidate?)

I'm not on FB, but my wife sent me this today. Great looking body with all the trim intact and a super clean underside. NOM mystery 327. Looks like a great way to get into a solid driver 63 coupe or turn it into a restomod. Nearly impossible to find a straight driver 63 coupe for this money anymore.

Not ultra close to me, but if someone needed it inspected, there's a lot of members here from the Chicago area.

Originally silver with blue gut, one of my favorite color combinations in 63.

funny how the '63 has become such an icon of the Corvette world. Don't get me wrong, I like a split window as much as the next guy. However, when it originally appeared the 'split' was panned by Corvette guys. It quickly disappeared the following year, never to reappear due to lack of appeal and manufacturing cost. In '64 plenty of '63 owners took the extra step and had the 'split' removed and replaced with trim and '64 glass. And in the process unknowingly ruined the long term value of their cars I suppose.

They were just used cars, I guess. Similar to how my friends effectively destroyed countless Fox-body Mustangs and 4th-gen F-bodies in high school. Now we're all hunting the pristine originals and paying for it.
