Corvette Bronze ‘68 SS/RS 396 convertible
I’ve been toying with doing this, so here goes...
I’m selling my 1968 Camaro SS/RS 396 convertible. She has just over 72,000 original miles and is equipped with her original matching L35 396 (born with) motor, TH400 Auto transmission, and equipped with standard black interior (all mint original), AM/FM radio and manual convertible top (in mint original condition). Other than a repaint (in a knock your socks off correct shade of Corvette Bronze paint), this car is an incredibly nicely preserved survivor. Under the hood has been preserved in all original survivor condition with original smog, etc. Mechanically, she runs and drives great. Everything works including the vacuum operated headlight doors. The brakes, steering and suspension have all been refreshed, the body received all new mounts and bushings, and she received a brand new gardener exhaust. Nicely documented with original warranty book and POP, original title (in the original owner’s name), etc. $56,900

A few better photos... can anyone confirm what an original convertible top boot should look like?

The rally wheels are unrestored and tires are Firestone Wide Oval Super Sports (don't know what vintage the tires are, but they ride nicely and are in mint condition). I know, I know... the rally caps are '67s and the trim rings are missing... long story. I will try and find a correct set of 68 caps and trim rings.

I'm getting better at resizing the photos!
Here are some good shots of under-the-hood. Once again, I know it could use a detailing, but some of that grease and dirt is nearly 51 years old so I can't bring myself to scrubbing it away. I'll leave that for the new owner to decide. The car received all new brake lines, fuel line, body/frame mounts/cushions, control arm bushings, rad support cushions, etc. The radiator has a little bit of a drip and the tranny pan could use a new gasket. The car gets a lot of attention when the hood is up!
