Default Lemans Blue 1969 elkie SS - CA driver

Nice solid Lemans Blue el Camino SS that spent its days in Palm Springs, CA and now resides in New York State.

Owner has done a mechanical overhaul, so it shouldn’t take much to enjoy it as a driver and parts-hauler! Apparently the L34 396 under the hood was decked, but that wouldn’t matter much to me... I’d be tempted to throw a stick into it.

Neat car - I'd have to do the 4 speed conversion too!

OK, new one on me
Car is bid to like 13,200. Next bid needs to be 13,300.
What is the
“Approximately C $ 17,647.74” just below the current bid?
Car has no reserve.
Strange I thought.

Canadian conversion. Because Helmut is viewing on ebay.ca (Canadian version) the link is for Canadian viewers.

It isn't there if you open ebay.com and find the auction.

You gotta love those CA desert cars. And any El Camino owner will appreciate the lack of dents in that bed!

Easy to say I'd throw in a 4-speed when I'm not buying the elkie. Truthfully, I probably wouldn't be able to change a thing.
