Pace cars
I was looking up info on a pace car TA for a guy, and saw this article, I’ve never seen some of these.
Check out the photos, the big Chrysler is pretty cool https://www.caranddriver.com/feature...500-pace-cars/ Last edited by Burd; 11-06-2020 at 12:50 PM. |

They list the Bravada, but leave out the most iconic PC, the '69 Camaro? Pffft.

I wonder where some of the early cars are now? Are some in an Indy museum?

They left out some of the Camaros such as the 69, 82, and the 93...all relevant pace cars!

It is a list of their favorite 30 cars. They DID include the best Camaro, the only year to have vent windows and not have side marker lights, and the ONLY Chevrolet car to introduce the new 350 engine......

My 1967 IPC was assigned to Little Joe of Bonanza fame (Michael Landon) for the 500 Festival parade. The 67's are neat cars.

There must more ‘69’s. I see a lot just on Woodward. How many are made?
